Jen Mezzatesta

REGISTERED NURSE PSYCHOTHERAPIST, RN, BScN

I am a Registered Nurse with 20 years of experience in healthcare, including hospital and primary care, and I bring a strong foundation in mental health into my psychotherapy practice. Currently completing my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology through Yorkville University, I combine knowledge with compassionate, evidence-based care to support clients in their healing journey.

In therapy, I take a collaborative and holistic approach, creating a safe, respectful, and non-judgemental space. Together, we’ll explore the thought patterns and challenges that may be holding you back, while building practical tools to support growth and resilience.

I am trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy (PCT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based approaches. I support adolescents (ages 13+) and adults experiencing anxiety and depression, as well as adults navigating postpartum mood changes.

Together, we will build tools to lift your mood, ease anxiety, and help you feel like yourself again. My goal is to help you feel understood, empowered, and ready to create lasting change.

Your mental health matters. Let’s take the first step together.

I offer a complimentary 15-minute consultation by phone or online, where we can discuss your goals.

Day, evening and weekend appointments are available.
